News: Forthcoming E-Book
For those of you have been wondering about the slow development of this site, and why nothing much has changed here for a while, I want you to know I have been steadily chipping away at the writing of a kindle e-book on Harm OCD I hope will greatly advance the work that is here.
For the duration this has to take precedence over HarmOCD.com, as it’s long been evident to me a more inclusive, panoptic, and thus more helpful view of what it takes to get better from this is desperately needed.
Meanwhile I’d like to thank those of you who have so far been appreciative of my efforts via email, and extend invitation to anybody else who wants to get in touch with me at HarmOCD@outlook.com
Your questions greatly aid my writing so please be assured, I am only too happy to help with any concerns you may presently have.
N.B. I will make sure to update you as to how it is coming along – so watch this space!
Update 4: 15/05/2016: Hands up: the shop (yes, I really do own a butcher shop, and no longer have a fear of knives and harming those I love with them) has slowed all this down, but by and by I have been chipping away at the book and it is slowly taking shape. Others have contacted me, and communication with them has as always been helpful, insightful. Many express understanding, yet are frustrated that understanding, while it brings short-term relief, does not completely end this for them. Fact is, like I say elsewhere on the site, nerves take time to heal and it does take some time to get your head around the fact that, ultimately, you are separate from this, that it is a body-mind storm clouding you from your true being, and that a closer association with your depths will lessen this for you. Again, this takes a wee bit time to get, but, trust me, you’ll get it!
Update 3: 11/02/2015
There’s been one brave soul who has really helped me of late, through writing to me often, to get a mass load of content down for the book…I really can’t thank this person enough! And the great news is, he is well on the way to full recovery and is now experiencing for the most part more good days than bad. His feedback has been invaluable, and really validates the worth of this project and, I am happy to say, confirms what I know: that with understanding of this condition and what you can do for yourself about it, you can, no matter how long you have suffered from this, head straight to cure. Yes, I say straight to cure, even though it may for a while seem a wobbly road.
Regardless, cure is certain…I know it is certain…it cannot be otherwise once you “get” what I’m saying…and once more my promise to you is that this book, though it is long in the writing, will be chock full of what you are needing to get to get better from this. Mark my words, it’s coming!
Yet, feel free to write me if you want to know more…I most certainly can give you more than what I’ve got here, up on this site. It’s yours if you write me.
Update 2: 22/072014
Good progress is now being made with the book now that another project/goal of great importance to me has been nearly put to bed. I am presently writing about shifting ones focus away from your thoughts and emotions and how this can help you disassociate yourself from Harm OCD.

The book is coming along slowly but surely, with much being written in response to those brave souls you have so kindly contacted me to share encouragement and appreciation, which is so nice given that they are presently enduring an uncomfortable time. Thank you all so much. Know that I am here for every one of you needing help with this tricky condition, and that your questions are very much appreciated in that they are aiding me forward this work.
